Last year Mannix Aklian began looking far and wide for inexpensive lab space for his Boston-based pharmaceutical startup Label Independent Inc. When he saw the new 12,800-square-foot Science Incubator on the Mount Laurel campus of Burlington County College, he was more than impressed. “This was just tremendous,” Aklian said. “The shared resources spread costs across many companies. It lets us small companies look like the big boys, and the lab facilities are impressive.”
